Privacy

League Leaders is a free stats site. There are no accounts, no sign-up and nothing to buy, so we never ask for your name, email or payment details. This page lists everything the site does record, and why.

What we measure

Google Analytics. Every page loads Google Analytics, which tells us which pages are read, how people found them, and roughly where and on what kind of device. Google sets its own cookies to do this and handles the data under Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Our own visit counter. The site also keeps simple counts of its own: page views per page per day, and which site sent a visit. To tell a new visit from a returning reader it sets one cookie, ll_t, which holds four dates and times and no ID. The per-page and per-referrer counts are deleted after 120 days; daily totals are kept.

Server logs. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

What stays in your browser

Your light or dark theme choice and your daily quiz progress are saved in your own browser and are not sent to us. When you finish the quiz, your score is added to that day's totals anonymously, so the page can show how you did against everyone else.

Videos and social media

When our livestream is on, the site can show a YouTube player, which works under YouTube's own privacy policy.

We publish our own videos to our YouTube channel and our Facebook Page through those platforms' official tools. That app only posts our videos to our own accounts. It does not collect or store information about anyone on Facebook or YouTube.

What we never do

We don't sell or share personal information, we don't run ad networks, and we don't build profiles of readers.

Deleting your data

Because there are no accounts, we hold nothing tied to you by name. To clear what is stored in your browser, delete the cookies and site data for leagueleaders.com in your browser settings.

Changes

If any of this changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
